The CAA International Cocoa Conference Exhibition and Gala Dinner (CAAICC2026) is Asia’s leading cocoa and chocolate conference for senior business leaders, key stakeholders, decision-makers, and thought leaders.

Held once every two years, the two-day conference in Singapore will focus on the most relevant topics with cross-industry experts. Look forward to sessions and opportunities to network, elevate your business, and unlock new prospecting opportunities.

The 4th edition of the conference was held from 2 to 3 September 2026 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Organized by the Cocoa Association of Asia (CAA), this exclusive pre-conference session is specifically designed for farmers and community leaders involved in farming. It marks the inaugural workshop where farmers from various backgrounds come together for knowledge-sharing on farming techniques, training effectiveness, community development, farm succession planning, and other related topics.

Held on 1st September 2026, the 2nd edition of IFNF placed a special focus on young adults and women agri-entrepreneurs who are not only sustaining cocoa farming but also creating jobs, innovating services, and building value chains that strengthen their rural communities.

With much of the cocoa-farming population now above 40 years old, building the next generation of farmers and agri-entrepreneurs is essential to the industry's long-term resilience. IFNF provides a platform for their voices, ideas and leadership to help shape the future of cocoa.

Objectives

Highlight and celebrate young adults and women-led agribusiness initiatives that provide services or products to cocoa communities.
Facilitate cross-country learning and exchange of best practices, sustainability and innovation among farmer networks in Asia and others producing origin countries.
Encourage collaboration between farmer groups, private sector actors, and development partners to support inclusive entrepreneurship.
Co-create transformative, practical initiatives that can be implemented or piloted at country level, and have the potential to scale or inspire replication

CAA welcomed 17 Farmers from 8 different countries to participate in the Design Thinking Innovation Challenge.

Participants were divided into 5 different groups, bringing together farmers from different origins to exchange ideas, explore new perspectives and develop solutions to the challenges they face.

Five groups. Five ideas. One shared goal

To attract and empower more young people and women to participate in the cocoa industry.

The winning team received a fully funded training programme at the Mars Cocoa Academy in Sulawesi, Indonesia. This opportunity will allow the participants to strengthen their knowledge, learn improved cocoa-farming techniques and gain practical skills that they can apply on their farms.
